BECAUSE Bow Ties allows you to time travel!!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Ok so you've probably heard that bow ties are in fashion, and you're like a lot of guys, you don't know how to make them work for you..!

A lot of men, in general, are very reluctant to demonstrate the bow tie kind of codified flamboyance, Exactly why I feel that it takes a lot of character to pull off this retro piece of neckwear. Well consider yourself lucky because will show you how is the bow-tie fashion done!

Bow ties are essentially a classic look that can be formal, conservative or completely edgy. It entirely depends on how you choose to wear it.What you pair it with it is as important as the one you choose. So slip on a well fitted suit and crisp shirt and wear the sexy accessory around your neck! Oh and yes don't forget your swagger!

For formal occasions, when one is wearing a dinner jacket or tuxedo, traditional black or white is probably best. Otherwise, as with most choices in life, I would suggest going with whatever makes you feel good.

Subsets of the traditional tie, such as tiepins, pocket squares, cuff links are all safer mundane choices that need a break especially in the city I live in!
The good news is that the humble bow tie is clearly emerging as the front runner in the ever-changing fashion movement.

And be it guys or girls...! It looks awesome and classy on both! ;)
Just have a look!

Tying a Bow-Tie
Tying a bow tie is no rocket science. Think of it like a shoelace. If in doubt, there are a whole lot of videos on
YouTube that offer tutorials to tie them right.

Essential Tips
1. Go for a simple point collar.
2. The suit or the tuxedo should fit hug your natural shoulder shape.
3. Ensure you reveal your shirt cuffs from your suit a quarter inch or half inch

4. Go in for trousers that donot have cuffs on the leg. You should look smarty pants after all
5. For single breasted suits, 2 buttons are clean and look stylish!

The Tale of a Balloon Seller!!

I have experienced the miracle of reading good stuff in my life. The feeling is so amazing that it is the reading habit only that taught me as well as so many people I know good things in life.I remember how my grand mother used to tell me all those beautiful and lovely stories before getting me and I brother to bed..! And, also in my adverse times, some inspirational and motivational good short stories have given courage to survive the difficult times. They say that those small stories are like treasure for their entire life. So, the idea to share good short readings to Panchtantra readers. And I feel that definitely these stories will help lots of people in different shades of life.

So Friends, here I have a simple and a lovely story for you! And,I will be happy, if this reading will help you in any way. Your comments are always welcome.

The Tale of a Balloon Seller!!

Once there was a small black boy. Everybody would tease him for his black colour. Even his mother also would curse her fate that she had so ugly looking child. Due to all this, he used to feel very sad, disappointed and lifeless.

One fine day he was standing by his window looking at other children playing in the ground. Then he saw a balloon seller on a street corner. His eyes sparkled as he gazed at all the different coloured balloons - red, blue, white, green, yellow. The colourful balloons in the sky fascinated him so much that he rushed down the ground and stood near the balloon seller for hours.

The old man selling the balloons saw the boy hesitate, then gather his courage and approach. "Tell me mister;" said the boy, "Do the black balloons fly as high as the others?" The old man felt a tear forming in his eye. He picked the boy up, sat him on his knee and said, "Look."

He let go off all the balloons. They drifted up in a cluster, higher and higher into the blue sky, until they were so high they disappeared.

"Did you see that?" the balloon seller asked.

"Yes," said the boy.

"Did the black balloons fly as high as the others?"

"Yes, Mister, they did."

"You see my boy, the balloons are like people. The important thing isn't their color, or what they look like on the outside. Rather, the important thing is what's inside. And what's inside you makes all the difference in life."
The thing inside of us that makes us go up is
Our attitude.

So remember friends good and positive attitude is key to every approach......!!

The one with the printed PANTS!!

We all know that printed pants are one of the season’s must haves, designed especially to create a warm, romantic mood. Any kind of printed pants has the potential to enrich your look and make you stand out of the crowd! If you check out the hottest printed pants of the season, you will see the variety of prints (animal prints, polka dots, floral) and forms (cargo, jeans, cropped) that our favorite designers offer.

When wearing printed pants keep your accessories simple ! With this outfit I added a simple scarf and simple silver locket to bring out the pants.

A crisp light white blouse went perfect with the pants because when I wear printed pants I want all the attention to be drawn to my pants. I decided to dress the outfit up with black ballerinas because I loved how the shoe is comfortable and girly! The whole look enhance the pants Beautifully!
But remember mixing prints isn't a crime as long as you do it right ;D !

LOOK of the Day!!

[How to wear GREY Pants]

What comes to mind when you think of the color grey? Fog, dreariness, blah? Pretty much anything the opposite of happy and exciting, right? Lots of guys have trouble keeping their look interesting while wearing grey pants. The good news is that there are definite ways to make your grey pants a part of what makes your outfit special.
The neutral color grey, while having the ability to go with anything, certainly has its best pairings. Use these ideas, try them out, and I promise that grey pants will become the backbone to your outfit.

How to wear Emerald Green???

It’s the color of Elizabeth Taylor’s famed jewels from lover Richard Burton, thought to preserve love. Emerald green, coming from the Latin ‘smaragus’ or ‘precious stone’, has been named as Pantone’s Colour of the Year for 2013. In the middle ages, the emerald was known as the sacred stone of the goddess Venus, and is said to make those in contact with it ‘lucky in love’. Take a look at how best to style your exotic new color for the New Year.

Here I have paired up a well fit denims with white top which will titivate the emerald color with the bold ring & sling bag add to the look.

Short? Fat? DOES NOT MATTER! You can look amazing in your MAXI DRESS !

Your Height and Weight does not matter! You can still look amazing in your Maxi dress.

The maxi dress is always on TREND!
The maxi dress has gone from being hippy chick holiday wear to being a summer staple.
Let's be honest, ladies love it because you can look like you're embracing fashion without shaving your legs.

But just because it covers a multitude of sins, it still needs a bit of consideration because there are pitfalls aplenty.
It might seem like a casual look, but you still need to think about how the dress fits and what underwear you're going to wear with it.
If your bra straps are going to be on show, make sure they're pretty.
If you've got adjustable straps on the dress, make sure they're taut or put in a stitch or two - to ensure you don't look like you've wandered off a beach.
But the biggest danger is that by swathing yourself in acres of material you can end up looking like you're wearing a tent.
Give your body some shape by opting for a style that gives you a defined waist.
Alternatively, use a belt to cinch things in or add a jacket to give you a more defined silhouette. Finally, team with flats or wedges - spindly shoes.

LOOK of the Day!

BLUE is Fashion this year!! Black and blue and a little pop of color around the eyes.

I love this look for Spring because it brings in just enough color to get excited for warmer weather but with the long sleeves and black, it has not let go of winter completely. Put together with some great sandals, this is an incredibly easy look to wear during the day without feeling like you are still in the "same old" jeans.

6 VINTAGE FASHION I LOVE!!!!

I am a girl that is very much into vintage fashions! Sometimes, I think I may have been born in the wrong era. Have you ever felt that way? Do you feel the same? Are you a girl into vintage fashions as well? If you are, you will probably enjoy reading my favorite vintage fashions below!

1. 50'S DRESSES

Of all the wonderful vintage fashions I love, the beautiful dresses of the 1950's! Give me a 1950's style midi dress any day! Are they not just darling? And oh, how I love those cute little gloves and gorgeous shoes they wore! Oh how delightfully perfect!

2. 1950'S FURS

Now, I know that these days, there is a "stink" that comes along with wearing real furs. In some areas, you risk danger to yourself by wearing a fur. But I can't help but love the look of some of these beautiful furs! Now, sure, I will take faux fur any day over the real deal, but real or not, it is gorgeous!

3. 1940'S HAIR

Such lovely hair do's! The ladies of the 1940's sure knew how to make their hair stunning, didn’t' they? If only I could get my hair to work together like that...

4. 1920'S JEWELRY

I just adore the long multi-layered necklaces the ladies in this decade wore! Pearls upon pearls and many times, a pendant and chain thrown into the mixture as well. Also, a great deal of their outfits was topped with furs or boas as well. That's a lot of layers around the neck! But don't you just love it?

5. 1960'S JACKETS

Say what you want to, but the double breasted jackets and coats of the 60's were perfect then and are still wonderful today! If I could, I would have many items of this style in my wardrobe! All colors! But my closet (nor my wallet) is quite big enough for such a collection. Do you like this style of coat?

6. 1900'S LACE

I am definitely a girl that is into lace. I love lacy things! There is a part of me that would absolutely wear a 1900's style lace dress out in public today, without a second thought as to what anyone would think of me! Everything back then was so flowing and feminine! Very flattering! And I just love the fans they carried! Did you know there was even a "fan language" the ladies used? Life back then must have been so nice!

I am most certainly a woman into all things vintage and retro. Vintage fashions are incredible, aren't they? The 70's ; Where is the nearest time travel machine? Well, you have read my favorite things in the fashion history, but I want to know what yours is? Are you a 70's hippie chick? Maybe you are a 20's flapper? I would love to hear from you! Leave me a comment and let me know what fashion era you like best!
