World Cup Madness....

If we look into the past....Fashion has evolved staggeringly....Years ago Cricket was labelled as the gentleman’s game, may be it was right because at that time glamour and cricket were like  poles apart. Over the time, playing technique as well as the trends kept changing. Nowadays cricket is no more just a gentleman’s game but it has become more stylish and glamorous one. From the Rise of Haute Couture...to the Roaring twenties...to what we are wearing now...Fashion reflects the society of which it is a part. It has been influenced by wars, conquests, laws, religion, and the arts. Individual personalities have also had an impact on fashion. From Test cricket..to one day matches...to day and night matches to IPL.... from our players to our hot cheerleaders... cricket has gone a far way....!
The most important fields in the world FASHION and SPORTS... have commingle and the sports persons have turned into Fashion Icons....
Be it the trend setter David Beckham or Virat kholi...

Like Fashion Cricket has also evolved from 1800s and from being inspirations now crickiters have become fashion icons..!

Style = Expression

It’s the total combination of the way you dress, talk, move your body, or do anything for that matter. Simply put, it’s how we express our inner being outwardly. This includes all of our thoughts, emotions, interests, and values. Everything on the outside is merely a reflection of what’s on the inside.
A lot of the people think that what we do is just help people upgrade their outer appearance.
Although, I like to think of myself as a “self-expression coach,” because I firmly believe that fashion is just one part of your style.
For instance our cricketers..The dashing Imran khan made women go head over heels with his charming looks, smart shirts and suits and his elegant conversation.

Times have changed.  The players are watched a great deal.  The number of endorsements they do has also increased.  They are all over the media.  Hence, the players have become more fashion conscious. They are youth and style icons, as popular and worshipped as the filmstars.Their styling and the way they carry themselves is under public scrutiny all the time.
Fashion/Style
Like the way people had followed Salman khan's trend setting looks in Tere Naam be it before interval or after interval looks.. the same way the followers are changing towards the cricketers... Shikhar Dhawan's moustache is the latest 'IN' thing and what people are following!!

Tattoo inspiration David Beckham!

Yes! We all agree that players these days are all very smart, hot and well groomed... They endorse fashion brands, appear in fashion magazines..!omg and so hot they look!!

Cricketers being youth icons and having major fan following have brought in a huge change in the way they dress, style their hair, or have tattooes, or the brands they endorse.
And my favorite Virat kholi... with his amazing looks..!

Yes…players have become more fashion conscious, out of choice, out of compulsion.  After all, the society has also undergone a huge change.

Monochrome Maddness!

Monochrome Madness
Designers and celebrities worldwide have been rocking the evergreen monochrome trend. Everybody needs a little black, white and grey in their closet, don’t they? You can’t go wrong with this colour palette, as the shades are neutral, which allows you to experiment a little here and there. Keep it simple, or spruce it up – you can do anything!
The best thing about monochrome is that you don’t have to worry about repeating the same outfit. Isn’t that almost every girl’s dream come true? For example, on one day you can wear your favourite black top with a pair of black and white palazzo pants and for next time, wear the same black top with a grey high waist skirt. But of course, you can stick to the classics – white top with black pants etc..

Monochrome ensembles are always on trend, so you will never be outdated if you invest in this style.

FACT OF THE DAY!

The ’60s were called the ‘Swinging Sixties’ because of the variety in the lengths of skirts that appeared over the decade. From micro-minis to flowing maxis, the sixties were on a swing indeed!

FACT OF THE DAY!

If your Lacoste crocodile logo faces towards the left, you should know something isn’t quite right. For a long time, the brand had a dispute with the company ‘Crocodile Garments’ over a similar logo design. The dispute settled with Lacoste’s crocodile logo facing towards the right and Crocodile Garment’s crocodile facing left. Talking about parting ways?

GEEK MANIA!

Throughout its storied sartorial history, tartan has taken on a multitude of forms. The timeless pattern has roots in ancient Scotland (after all, Braveheart's William Wallace went to battle wearing a kilt), but over time, it also became synonymous with movements from punk to grunge (Kurt Cobain's uniform often consisted of a tartan flannel shirt). With undertones both classic and subversive, tartan's proved that it's one of the most versatile and enduring patterns in fashion. Read on to see how a number of stylesetters are wearing tartan now, and how you can get their look today. Don't forget to check out our on-trend tartan picks too!On The Runway
Michael Kors Look 24 from F/W 12 collection

A classic red tartan shirt has an English (and Scottish) heritage charm. Choose a mini style to avoid looking frumpy and team it with black tights for a Sixties feel or biker boots for a nod to Eighties punk.

This boyfriend shirt is yet another tartan addition to my wardrobe. I really need to concentrate on getting things that are non-tartan and non-fluffy.

Mixing boyish pieces with feminine additions (like gladiators) creates an unexpected combination that totally works in my opinion! I think it’s so funny that there are various styles of jean now that work and are even considered trendy. When I was in high school, anything other than flared or boot leg jeans was considered old fashioned. Now, I consider the cut and wash more of a personal preference, whether you want to wear skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, high-waisted jeans, wide leg jeans, or anything else you can come up with and style appropriately.

The boyfriend jean has become one of my favorite types of jean style, right after skinny jeans as you can tell from previous posts! The baggy denim style is meant to give off a relaxed vibe, as though you just woke up, rolled out of bed, and grabbed a pair of your man’s most comfortable jeans. As casual as they are, I don’t consider boyfriend jeans very easy
to style and for the longest time, I didn’t think they were particularly stylish. I think depending how you put together the look, it can be a risk! Searching for just the right ones that are baggy but figure-flattering at the same time can be a challenge. Once you find the right pair that works for you, there are endless ways you can wear the look.

I like a jean that is relaxed but still fitted so it creates the look of borrowing something from my man, without actually looking like a man. The jeans look sexy and elegant when styled a ton of different ways, from a plain white T-shirt to a collared shirt. The look you create changes drastically with the type of shoes you wear, from high-heels to flats  for a more casual look.
A great way to dress up a pair of boyfriend jeans with Tartan  is to add a backpack and a pair of geeky's;By the way they are new! :)
What are some other ways you have styled Tartan?
