The Lace Trend!

Hello people!
Summer is here!The lace trend has been around for a few seasons now, and it’s only getting stronger for fall. If you haven’t tried this trend yet, it’s time to join the lacy bandwagon!

Whether you’re wearing it on your top, skirt, or elsewhere, one thing is for sure, lace isn’t just for your undergarments anymore! Not sure how to rock this trend with confidence? Well have no fear friends, I’m here to give you tips and tricks on wearing this detail-oriented fabric! Interested? Read on!

I picked out this great lace top and paired it with a pair of dark skinny jeans. A lace shirt is a great way to rock the lace trend as it is subtle, yet still fashion-forward. Another great way to wear this trend is to invest in a cool lace-based headband –  To complete the outfit, I found a pair of great t-flats they add a statement necklace to the

outfit without being too over-the-top. Wear this on campus and you’ll be laced up and ready to ace those classes!

7 PIECES YOU NEED IN YOUR WARDROBE FOR 2014 ...

Seasons change, and therefore so do the pieces you need in your wardrobe each year. But the question always is, what do you keep and what essential pieces should move in? Here is a list of pieces you need in your wardrobe to help you out!

1.PLAIN WHITE T

This is one of those pieces you need in your wardrobe as it can take you from day to night with a change of jewelry. When searching for a plain t-shirt, make sure you purchase one that has an amazing fit. This will add that touch of togetherness and make the shirt look expensive. Try to buy one that will not wear fast and become thin.

2.BLACK sKINNY JEANS 

This is a must have for work,nights out and those casual dinner dates. The thin leg is key, as it will look great with a sneaker to a high black heel for night time. There are plenty of jeans that have a high waist and a low waist, but make sure you grab a pair that looks classy and is easily versatile.

3.  STATEMENT NECKLACE

Who doesn’t love a big statement necklace? Whether it is a plain gold chain or a necklace with colorful jewels, pair this with a suit for a touch of fun or to a plain outfit for that pop. You can find a statement necklace almost anywhere and on the cheap!


4.AN OVER SIZED CLUTCH

Every woman should have an “it” bag, and this season it’s all about the oversized clutch. With a range of prices and styles, finding the perfect one that suits you is easy as pie!

An oversized clutch can hold all of your most important essentials, but also forces you to downsize – you don’t want to be bogged down by stuff you won’t even need in your day to day life. Just because a bag CAN fit seventeen lipsticks doesn’t mean it should! Ideally, the oversized clutch can work as a chic evening bag, but you can also use it as a stylish day pack for work, play, or simply running errands around town.

5. A PAIR OF AN OVERSIZED FRAMES 

There is nothing more fashionable that an over-sized pair of geeky glasses.  Who would have thought that being a nerd would be cool?  Well the time has finally come. The geeky prescription glasses craze is hitting the world by storm.  Some people are even purchasing non-prescription glasses simply for vanity, to cash in on the geeky look.

2014 has undoubtedly been the year for the Retro, Geeky, lets face it, the ultimate Nerd look.  To correct your vision or to complete your fashion outfit, geeky glasses are a must have for everyone.  They are the signature part of any geek’s wardrobe!

6.A PRINTED SCARF

Scarves never seem to go out of fashion - and this summer, word on the fashionably chic... well, not streets... rather boulevards is that no outfit, however stylishly cut, is deemed classy enough without a little helping hand from a colorful scarf. Of course, most of us ladies have come to learn first-hand exactly how versatile a friend a good scarf can be, with its many uses and uncanny ability to lend warmth, substance and grace to just about any old outfit you may get your hands on.

And Last but not the least on the list the very essential the wardrobe saviour!

7. A DENIM SHIRT

Denim Shirts are back! We'll they were always in! The essential shirt is a must have this Fall. You could dress it up or dress it down, and wear it in infinite possible ways. You could wear it with skirts, pants, leggings and even with denim bottoms as well.

Denim shirts are back in style.

If you don’t have one in your closet yet, it’s a worthy investment. Other types of casual shirt are still quite similar in fabric and general aesthetics, but a denim shirt will bring something different to your wardrobe. It will add some variety.

It will still have the stigma of being primarily worn by people’s dads, but a stylish person can wear items in ways that break their stigma. It’s not the shirts themselves that give people the chic-look, it’s the way some people wear them. 

I'm wearing a stripes gunjy,a knitted skirt with embellished collar on the denim with over sized clutch and a pair of gladiators adding more charm to it.
The wayfares and the accessories giving a snazzy look.

The maxi dress has gone from being hippy chick holiday wear to being a summer staple. 

Let's be honest, ladies love it because you can look like you're embracing fashion without shaving your legs. 

You can wear the dress on its own- it is very bright and very comfortable.Another way to wear the dress is with a denim shirt. This will keep you warm and edge up your look.With a black sleek belt and oversized clutch and a pair of gladiators..!!

We know it's winter's but not in my part of the world!! Hell ya!! It's summer! I live in Kerala, but you don't have to do the colorful/pastel thing every day. Learn how to wear all black, the right way.

ONAM BONANZA!

Hi!!
Living in southern part of India had made me look to many more aspects of being in a place with a very different surroundings; the people who live,the food they eat,the language they speak,the culture.But now as it has been very long three years, so I think I have out grown all those things...;)
