5 fall favorites

Hello! People!

It seems like summer has just started and it's already coming to an end. But, we have the crisp autumn weather to look forward to! It's the perfect  time of year of sipping hot chai lattes while strolling through the park watching the leaves change colors. :)

Here are five key pieces I’m looking forward to wearing this fall. A studded denim shirt with a leather skirt/short aztec print skirt, and my favorite gladiators which I love. Plus, accessorizing with this black oversized clutch with layers of delicate gold jewelry and colorful bracelets. While shopping for new fall accessories online I discovered Raise.
An awesome site that offers discounted gift cards from my favorite retailers such as Zara, Forever 21, H&M, and more! As you know I love H&M for its on trend pieces for a girl on a budget but also for their basic bags and flats that are perfect for DIYs (tutorial here and here). So, I was very excited when I saw H&M gift cards you can buy for 15% off their valued price. Plus, if you have extra merchandise credit or gift cards lying around you can sell them too! What discounts will you discover? Let the fall shopping season begin!

GEEK MANIA!

Throughout its storied sartorial history, tartan has taken on a multitude of forms. The timeless pattern has roots in ancient Scotland (after all, Braveheart's William Wallace went to battle wearing a kilt), but over time, it also became synonymous with movements from punk to grunge (Kurt Cobain's uniform often consisted of a tartan flannel shirt). With undertones both classic and subversive, tartan's proved that it's one of the most versatile and enduring patterns in fashion. Read on to see how a number of stylesetters are wearing tartan now, and how you can get their look today. Don't forget to check out our on-trend tartan picks too!On The Runway
Michael Kors Look 24 from F/W 12 collection

A classic red tartan shirt has an English (and Scottish) heritage charm. Choose a mini style to avoid looking frumpy and team it with black tights for a Sixties feel or biker boots for a nod to Eighties punk.

This boyfriend shirt is yet another tartan addition to my wardrobe. I really need to concentrate on getting things that are non-tartan and non-fluffy.

Mixing boyish pieces with feminine additions (like gladiators) creates an unexpected combination that totally works in my opinion! I think it’s so funny that there are various styles of jean now that work and are even considered trendy. When I was in high school, anything other than flared or boot leg jeans was considered old fashioned. Now, I consider the cut and wash more of a personal preference, whether you want to wear skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, high-waisted jeans, wide leg jeans, or anything else you can come up with and style appropriately.

The boyfriend jean has become one of my favorite types of jean style, right after skinny jeans as you can tell from previous posts! The baggy denim style is meant to give off a relaxed vibe, as though you just woke up, rolled out of bed, and grabbed a pair of your man’s most comfortable jeans. As casual as they are, I don’t consider boyfriend jeans very easy
to style and for the longest time, I didn’t think they were particularly stylish. I think depending how you put together the look, it can be a risk! Searching for just the right ones that are baggy but figure-flattering at the same time can be a challenge. Once you find the right pair that works for you, there are endless ways you can wear the look.

I like a jean that is relaxed but still fitted so it creates the look of borrowing something from my man, without actually looking like a man. The jeans look sexy and elegant when styled a ton of different ways, from a plain white T-shirt to a collared shirt. The look you create changes drastically with the type of shoes you wear, from high-heels to flats  for a more casual look.
A great way to dress up a pair of boyfriend jeans with Tartan  is to add a backpack and a pair of geeky's;By the way they are new! :)
What are some other ways you have styled Tartan?

Hello People!

Your Height and Weight does not matter! You can still look amazing in your Maxi dress.

The maxi dress is always on TREND!
The maxi dress has gone from being hippy chick holiday wear to being a summer staple.
Let's be honest, ladies love it because you can look like you're embracing fashion without shaving your legs.

You can wear the dress on its own- it is very bright and very comfortable.Another way to wear the dress is with a denim shirt. This will keep you warm and edge up your look. With a black sleek belt and oversized clutch and a pair of gladiators..!!

CASUAL CHRISTMAS!

FASHION CRIME OR NOT, DOUBLE DENIM IS BACK. HERE'S HOW TO WEAR IT!!

Here's a thing with fashion it changes all the time.So I wasn't surprised when DENIM suddenly became the most coolest thing since slice of bread. Whether your shooting the breeze with your boys or attending a rock gig, a straight legged version will keep you comfortable not to mention eliminate the problem of spoiled hem. Add a dash of polish to what's essentially a casual look with leather boat shoes, gladiators, but avoid run down trainers.
Double denim is back and bigger than ever. But is the tricky trend still a fashion crime?

STYLE TIPS
  • Break up the heaviness of the look with something light and feminine: the strap of a fabulous cross-body bag, a gorgeous pair of drop earrings, or a sexy lace bra strap or wear the shirt open with an extra button undone to show off a bit more skin or a glimpse of a pretty lace camisole
  • Roll up your sleeves and bare wrists with a bracelet or two, or a statement cocktail ring
  • No cowboy boots PLEASE! Keep feet semi-naked in ballet pumps or a pretty flat sandals
  • If you opt for a more tailored dark denim, pair of slim leg jeans then of course wear some sexy heels
  • If you must wear a belt do so, but its best to wear without to project a certain insouciance
  • If you choose to contrast the colours, a darker-hued denim worn on the bottom half will be more slimming.
  • Beware wearing a too-pale chambray shirt as you will appear too washed out – unless, of course, you are blessed with a wonderful olive complexion.

WHEN IN DOUBT THERE IS DENIM!

Hello People!
Exams time is a rush! But still I have saved out time for this beautiful post I'm sure you'll love! So the photographer couldn't be the same! As my dearest Madam Tyagi was pretty busy with her assignments "PM GC" Lol!:D So I had another friend of mine who helped me with this post Rajkumari, you can see her pictures here too....
So lets go bac
k to the post now!
When in doubt there is DEMIN "The SAVIOR".
Denim. It’s an ever-lasting fabric that can either make classic looks or cheap looks. However, with the right accessories, it doesn’t have to be isolated to the bottom half of your outfit.
Shake off the dust from your denim jacket, take it to the tailor and get it refitted. Denim is back baby and she is tired from sittin’ in the corner!
