LOOK OF THE DAY!

Hello People!!

Learn how to make the polka dot work for you, plus find expert tips on how this classic print can be incorporated into your wardrobe.
Classic trends have undergone fresh interpretations this season, with bold 1950s-inspired prints like polka dots helping to bring a retro vibe to your wardrobe. While polka dots may seem like a juvenile trend -- Minnie Mouse, anyone? -- the truth is that they can be done in a playful, yet grown-up way that's perfect for work or the weekend. Keep things simple, learn to accessorize and know what suits your body type.

The Best Thing About Fall: Cozy Chunky Knits

Chunky knits are here to stay. From Shetland  varieties to boyfriend and grandpa cardigans, a big knit stitch is the mark of cool, casual autumn/winter dressing. Of course, if you've adopted this trend or are thinking about it, you've got to consider your styling. How to pull off chunky knits without affecting their namesake? How to stay chic?
It's simple, really. Pair these cozy, ultra warm sweaters with your skinny jeans and bodycon bottoms. I love the idea of donning opaque tights, a simple cotton stretch pencil skirt, maybe a pair of OTK boots and then topping it off with a chunky sweater. Chill on the top, sexy on the bottom, it's the perfect "I care, but not too much" type of look. For the days when heels and tights aren't really your thing, the big sweater in your closet will be ideal to wear with faded skinnies and sneaks. A perfect combination for afternoon flea market perusing or meeting a friend for tea.

LOOK OF THE DAY!

Fashion plays a huge role in the lives of many. Other people's first impressions of you typically include your appearance as well as your personality and professionalism. In order to carry yourself well all year long, it's important to understand fashion etiquette. One of the most widely discussed fashion issues is white pants, skirts, shoes and bags. Read on to discover the new etiquette for white pants.

History

  • You've more than likely heard the "rule" that white pants are only to be worn after Memorial Day and never after Labor Day. While some people still follow that fashion rule, it's not as widely practiced anymore. Because of the variety of shades of white and the many fabrics that are used in clothing today, wearing white can be done year-round.

Styles

  • Another rule pertaining to white pants etiquette used to be avoid white pants unless you were model thin. Whether you are a full-figured lady or model thin, there is a style of white pants that will look good on you. One rule for everyone when shopping for a pair of white pants is to go up one size if you are between sizes. Pants that are too small, especially in white, cause the wearer to look lumpy, sloppy and larger than she is.
Do not wear pleated pants; they add to your width and are not flattering on any body type. Instead, opt for a pair of wide-legged pants featuring a flat front. This tends to leave the wearer looking sleek and pulled together, and works for any body type. For slimmer women, a pair of skinny jeans in white works well.
White pants etiquette also pertains to underclothes. Poor taste is exhibited if you wear a nice pair of white pants with visible panty lines. Opt for a thong panty in nude or white if the pants are even slightly sheer. Undergarments should never be visible.

Look of the day!

Hello people!!!
It’s time to re-think polka dots from your childhood days, now that they've been given a grown up cast via with sexy silhouettes and textures. The runways were awash in dots of all shapes, sizes and textures. Take a cue from Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs or Anamika Khanna and incorporate this whimsical print for a quick Fall wardrobe update.
For a casual look polka dots sheer top tucked into well fitted denims and belt it out for a proper chic look!
Goes well!

LOOK OF THE DAY!

Attention to fashion followers who are wild about exotic animal prints: this one’s for you!!
We’ve all seen leopard, zebra, cheetah and snake prints prowling the fashion scene recently. Marketed in such a way that animal prints are invading the fashion industry, from accents on jewelry, shoes and sandals, to full-on prints on blouses, tees, skirt and dresses, we have eventually succumbed to a dizzying effect of animal fever, fashion-wise!!
For those with an kinship for all sorts of striking animal prints in clothing, tiger prints will be a exhilarating addition.
The best way to carry off a tiger print themed outfit is to wear it as an accent, instead of a complete full-on as you don’t want to appear as though you are a runaway from a safari. Keep in mind that animal prints in bold designs can be overpowering as they are visually-intense, quite like the hungry tiger.
Tiger prints on slouchy tees and tank tops are by themselves statement-making as they can bring an interesting twist to an outfit!!!
To keep your getup looking stylish, I would highly recommend sticking with a single animal print piece while keeping the rest in neutral tones and clean lines. Let the tiger do the growling while you stay striking!!
Wearing clashing exotic printed pieces in loud designs, in my opinion, can confuse real animals and distract other human beings in a bad way. So, try to stay away from piling too many of these exotic prints in one go.
Stay STYLISH!
